Religious Affairs

• Our party believes in the national unity and complete separation of religion from politics , “the religion for God and the land for all people.”
  
  
• We believe that religious values are the main bases on which the good values are set; tolerance, truthfulness, noble manners and respect and dignity to the other religions, and that fanatism and radicalism impose threat to our society and to the whole world.
  
  
• Modernization of Islamic teachings through moderate and open-minded, trusty religious leaders who should be qualified scientifically, culturally and linguistically to improve the image of Islam.
  
  
• Islamic schools should include other non-religion subject to their curriculum including physics, economy, sociology philosophy, and foreign literature. Moreover, we should train the graduates to exert more efforts to understand and interpret the concepts of the religion correctly and in a way that goes well with the changes of the life.
  
  
• We believe that the law of the countries is a changeable civil law according to the conditions of life, and the legislation gets its terms from the necessities and new conditions of life . But this legislation must take into consideration the values, traditions and customs of the society. This legislation doesn't necessarily lean on Islamic and Christian law or any other sectarian law.
